The people who has influenced my literacy are the ones who have always be there from the beginning of my life. The positive literacy comes from the family and friends. Narrowing it down to the one only person who had the most impact on this issue has to be granted to Malcolm X. A famous African American who showed the whole world that a person can change his or her's whole personality. Malcolm X was an African American who started out as a Muslim Minister and Human Rights Activist. He was against violence and wanted nothing but peace for everyone. He also had the courage and heart of no other man. Back in this time, everyone was scared to stand up for what was right. The law enforcement used scare treatments to ensure the protection of all their own secrets they locked up behind them. Malcolm X was not just an influential for me, he influenced a number of young, white and African American, citizens all around the globe. If a person can change from being a criminal then I know for a fact that anyone can find a way to the good side this day in age. It took Malcolm X a number of years in jail to finally see what the right chose is.
The negative side of the influential literacy is Malcolm X's criminal side. The Muslim religion was teaching everyone who was involved to commit criminal actions. The followers did what they were thought and told. I believe that one should never be a follower. One should always want to be a leader. Being ahead of the pack will let you see the world from a different point of view. Malcolm X and his followers committed a number crimes can sometimes succeed. Just because one does not get caught the first time does not mean keep on testing your luck. One can only test the waters for so long. This showed me to never lead people to do the wrong things or take the wrong actions in life.
