My influence--Jeffery Jernagin
My 12th grade teacher was my biggest influence on my literature behalf in english. Her name was mrs. ferguson and she was one of the hardest english teachers in the school in my opinion. She always made sure we followed all directions in class and if the assignment wasn't done the correct way it would be ripped up. We wrote more papers in one year than I have ever written in all my four years of high school. She also made us write alot of definitions out of the Webster's dictionary and we read them aloud in class every day at least twenty-five words. My teacher influenced me in a good way because I learned more words than the average senior in high school I think. I took it as a good way to open up my mind to more knowledge and understanding about literacy. I learned that learning more words can only brighten up your vocabulary as you go on in life. Mrs. ferguson only influenced me to be the best I can be with writing cause it can take you so far in your later on life. I think all the hard work in effort I put into her class made me a better reader I pronounce my words clearly. I always have thanked my teacher for bettering my literacy part in english because it easier to understand something I learned how to do. Mrs. ferguson I think helped me better understand learning words and forming a better understanding for literacy.
