My Influence- Rikevia Wells

Well there are three people in my life that influenced me, my parents and my tenth grade english teacher.Well my parents influenced me because, whatever they said I would repeat, whether it was the right word or the wrong word. They also ways told us the proper way to say things, even if it didnt sound right. They mad sure we spelled the words how we say them so we would know how to pronounce it. If we would get a word wrong, my mother would always tell us to say the word over and over again, or she would make us write the words five times each.
The teacher that also influenced me the most was my tenth grade english teacher. Her name was Mrs. Holliman. She was the best teacher ever. She influenced me beacuse she made sure we talked the proper way. She would have us read stories out loud and if we couldnt pronouce a word she would make us sound it out by our self. She made sure we spelled words correctly and did not abbreviate anything. Sometimes she would make us stand in front of the class and read and you had to know how to say the word correctly. I honestly think she influenced me the most. She made sure you said and spelled the words correctly, even thought I didnt like standing up and talking in front of class, I think that way helped me better, because it helped me talk better and pronounce words right, and to me thats a teacher to look up too.

  1. This blog post is very wonderful because of the multiple people that influence this person. Having more than one influential person in your life a great thing because a person could want to see it is like from different point of views. More than one point of view is a good thing to keep in mind.
