There were several papers that i had written in my high school career, I was highly upset when i got my paperback and it wasn't the grade that i had expected it to be. On the contrary, she didn't like me for some reason in the past and automatically i knew that was the reason, why i did'nt pass. My senior English class was very intresting because we had a lot of paper to write and had to be very specific when we write.
This particular paper i had to write in my senior year was called " Environment that you live in". Trying to make the paper a little more intresting, i had many adjective to describe or paint a picture of the area i lived in and explain things that were surrond the area. My teacher left a comment about the discriptions and commented " that was not necessary". At that point i was fustrated because how would you relate to my paper if you do not know about were am from?
She was always strict with her grading and was always manipulative. One moment she says "i write good papaers" then the next time she says " i do not make sense". The assignment was worth a good portion of my grade and i was excited on writing about that topic. The teacher changed my perpective on writing, because she didn't let me express my opinion on the issue on my environment.
The good thing about the paper was that it let me inform people about the area i lived at, and what I was trying to do to change it. It also made me love to write just a little bit before i had got the grade. Also I was even more confident when my peers that had read my paper said that it was a good paper, so personally I was proud I wrote that paper.
Say bro you should never be discoureged when you get a bad paper back it should motivate you. I have gotten plenty of bad grades on papers and it only helped me with mistakes I would look over. That puts me and you in the same boat with gettin bad grades on papers but it shouldn't stop us from writing.
ReplyDeletethat was a interesting topic to write on larry. my high school teacher had me write alot about different expierence about the area that i live in. It will only make you better on papers like that because you can cratic yourself by the type of word usage. Keep the good work boy your going to make it through.
