Wk 3-Toni Moore

My past experience with writing hasn’t been so good. I have a horrible hand writing, and that made it hard for my teachers to understand what I was talking about through my four years of high school. During my years of high school we had plenty of essay to write, I would always wonder off topic instead of continuing the topic am suppose to talk on. Every time she hand papers back out I would have red marks everywhere.

I do not like essay nor do I like writing paragraphs about certain things ,because I would get off topic and start writing about things that are irreverent to the topic am suppose to be writing on. Sometimes as I write I would sit for hours trying to figure out what am going to write about when I have a difficult topic that really doesn’t interest me.

I never brainstorm on a topic am about to write about; I think that’s one of the reasons why I am always having a hard time trying to write an essay,, paragraph, research paper etc.I think that I would be an excellent write if I would stay on topic , and brainstorm my thoughts before I begin the writing process.

The only time I would really stay focus on a topic is when I find interest in that topic, If am not intrested in an topic I would get off topic and talk about something, sit around for hours wondering what am going to talk about.

Those are my experience I have had during my high school years with writing as well asy hand writing. I hope to improve those writing skills.

  1. Toni me and you are in the same boat I would start writing about some so intresting then when I run out of ideas to talk about I then jump on another subject and talk about some totally different. The only time I stay focus on writing papers is when she give a us prompt and I get Descriptive,I can describe things all day,but as we move along in this program we're going to have great writing skills.

  2. I love your blog it was real interesting. You and I both got two differents views on writing though. I love to write even if the topic is not interesting, the only thing that get to me sometimes is the brainstorming and from reading your blog you hate that also- Ni'kevia Wells

  3. A lot of people share your frustrations with writing about topics they don't find interesting, Toni. Although it is challenging, I think you'll find that forcing yourself to write about topics you don't find particularly interesting will improve your writing and oral communication skills because it will teach you to find something to say about any given topic. This will be a great interview skill one day when you're looking for a job as well.

  4. I can agree with this because I didn’t like to write at all but I knew it was something that I had to do in school and in my future. So I just accepted that I wouldn’t good at it so I decide to do some about it, and get help by entering a class called creative writing and I knew that by taking this class it would help me a lot. 5. I agree with the problems that people have and i know we have to shape our written in order to be successful. Written is a part of communication that we must have but also we can improve on each and every day. Its gonna be exciting to know that we have improved and ready for the fall to come, when we can show and enforce what we have learned
