What views influence my shaped of writing?--Dwain Conway

My influence from writing came from a assignment, class, and person. First, the assignment was when I made a hundred on an essay in English II. After I made that grade, I was very excited and proud of myself. It motivated me to wanna right a lot and also watch for grammer errors, and mistakes after I write. Every since I made that one-hundred, I have never made another one since. I also had a lot of bad experiements when it come to writing. In high school I wasn't so good at research papers, but I passed them all. A positive thing that I have learned about writing is that, I have to do a rough draft before I began writing. I have to do that because it will help me to understand the topic better and I can think better when I began writing. When I was a freshman in high school, I began writing poems and I have became very successful with it. One of my poems is published qualified for a national contest and I got a lot of attention for it from my peers and also unknown people. I also have written other poems for other people to give to their spouse on special occasions. A bad experience I had was when I wrote a poem and someone stole it or I misplaced it. As a true poetic I did not let it discouarge me; therefore, I still began to write and I have became better with it. Writing is an important tool to be succesful in life and I hope I can become better with my reading and writing. I would also love to teach other people how to write and become better with their grammer and punctuation skills. So in order to do that i have to have it in my mind that I wanna become better.

  1. I did not like doing ruff drafts either, but one positive thing about that was that when the teacher checked the ruff drafts I realized my mistakes. When I rewrite my paper it turns out to be good. Ni'kevia Wells
