One life lesson I am learned is that never let your roommate borrow anything. This is a life lesson for me because many things have come up missing and nobody knows where nothing went to. People started borrowing clothes, shoes, etc but nobody returned anything, everything was kept in one’s room and if u wanted it back you had to go look for it yourself which made me very angry a couple of times.
I learned from this lesson in various ways, for one I stopped lending out personal things which are shirts and shoes to me. Secondly never let anyone borrow anything unless you know for sure he/she will return it the same way you had given it to them. Next if you’re going to let someone borrow something at least have an exchange. Last everyone should wear his/her own clothes regardless to what type of day it is.
I will carry this lesson throughout the fall if I have another roommate like this or I might just request for another one. Also I would sit down will her and explain to her that she can’t borrow other people clothes, shoes etc and return it ruin and returning it back in a way that it wasn’t lend out. Those are my life lessons rather that an experience and how I plan to cope with it in the future.
