Lesson Learned...Deundraeus Portis

First of all, this has been a terrific summer at MSU and I learned a bundle of lessons. I haven't been in any really deep situations. One lesson that I learned here on the campus is that I have to manage my bedtime. I say this because class start at 8 o'clock in the morning, so I don't want to go to bed late at night. I once over sleept because of this situation, but now I have my alarm clock set half an hour early. Therefore, while I'm sleeping and I don't hear my alarm go off, I still have time to get up and get dressed and things. That is a very important lesson learned. It was a difficult lesson because I am not a early person, which means I don't go to sleep very early. In the future this is a lesson learned because I will maybe have to get up and go to a job, and everyone knows no one want to be late for a job.The roommate situation is ok. I say this because I am a nice, cool, and friendly person, so I'm easy to get alone with. When I first got to the school in June I already knew to treat my roommate with respect and wit a nice manner. Last, but not least, I know pretty much everyone can relate to this on is learning to manage money in different situations. For example, we I have a certain amount of money, I will think bout the needs and wants, which leads to a big decision. In the end I would rather buy something that is need than wanted eventhough wat is wanted may be something nice. Once I made a wrong decision. It was something I really wanted, on the other hand, something I had to do with the money, so I blew it all on something that wasn't really worth it. Lesson Learned from that and hopefully it will not happen again.

  1. I know exactly how you feel, I feel like knowing when to go to bed is like basically trying to manage your time, which I have a problem with. I have also waisted my money on somethings and ended up broke for a minute, because of my actions. I have learned my lesson about the money, yet still working on managing time.---jordyn riddle

  2. I agree with your respnosibility. Getting to bed early is a very important in college. I've started to go to sleep early also. But I don't mean to offend you but you kind of got off topic a little. But over all you've done a good job this nine weeks. Wish you success in the fall.
