I know u asking yourself, where is the life lesson right? Well the life lesson I learned is that you have to socialize to get anywhere in life. I met new people that became to be part of what I call my "Social Web", and that's all right with me. I guess this was a good life lesson learned because I really didn't care if I met people. I thought I do it with or without people and I had a "One Deep" mentality.

Lesson Learned--------Trermaine Williams
On my way up here, I came to a conclusion that I wasn't going to get to close to nobody up here yet. When I came up on campus here at MSU, I gasp and said to myself,"How am I going to maintain work and have fun up here." The first night I was up here, I was staying to myself because I really didn't know nobody. After a couples days up here, I started socializing a little bit more that was doing. I started to talking to my roommate at that time who was Jalen,but he moved out cause a situation. Jalen and I started got cool and we went and played Conway and Dee Dee in basketball and whooped them every time we played. I started getting cool with all the girls of fifth floor and I really don't know how we all became cool. I met my boy Ron and that's been my boy every since, and we got our on group called B.O.H. and I can't forget Toni Moore.

I agree with you, because I did not think I was going to get close to anyone either, but along the way I have met tones of friends. It took me sometime to get used to my surroundings also which was why, I stayed in my room most of the time, that is until I got comfortable. I think that is a great lesson you learned from t-will, because you have to have friends to get through, you can not just go through it own your own.-Ni'kevia Wells
ReplyDeleteAnother passage I really like is this one also. I to agree with what you are saying because sometimes when you get close to some people and make a couple of friends, it will slow you down. Also, sometimes it will cause a person to become more focused on stuff that is not important.
