English and Its Challenges-----------Robin Davis
Thinking over the past seven weeks, I have found that the most challenging subject for me is english. I feel like this subject is challenging, because I am not real good with grammer and correcting sentences. And never the less breaking down sentences. In all honesty the unit I struggled most in is chapter twenty seven: Coordination and Subordination. I struggled with coordination and subordination, because it was hard for me to identify an independent clause from a dependent clause. Which means I did not know which sentence was suborniate or coordinating. An example of subordinate conjunctions are; after, although, if, once, rather then, so that, while, and ect. A couple of Coordinating conjunctions are; and, but, for, nor, yet, or, so. When we had a test on it, my mind went blank, and I ende up having to go to tutorial, because of my lack of knowledge and will of learning subordination and coordination. I am glad I went to tutorial though, by choosing to go I learned the difference between the two and I also learned how to identify them. Only if I learned to do so during the test and through the home work, my grade would be better then what it is now. One more thing that was in chapter twenty seven is the fragment. I really did not struggle with fragments. I feel like that was the easiest part in chapter twenty seven was the fragment. I am glad I learned something out of chapter twenty seven. Wished I had learned it earlier.

my most challenging subject have been english too girl. But the unit I was failing was the coordination and subordination part. I dont know why that came so hard for me, but it did. I know that if I fail another test that I will just get extra help from my tutors or my teachers.
ReplyDeletecorrecting grammar in sentences can be very tricky, its a little tricky to me also. To me the coordination and subordination was pretty easy, maybe because English is my favorite. Its good to see that u have learned something out of it.
