My most challenging section in a subject over the past seven weeks has been English. The killing section was what we were going over yesterday, July 11. Picking out sometime that is first, second, and third person has always been a problem for me. Using them and they in the correct way is a great thing, but it just confuses me. I am so use to using everything in a certain way. Not the correct English form of the terms. A person trying to learn these lessons will have a tough time understanding why this is the proper use of these words. I am try to go back and read the examples and definitions out of the book, but when you do not get something it becomes like a foreign language to you. I was once told during my Senior year of high school, "If you are good in Math then you are not a great English student." I guess you can say that comment is somewhat of a true statement.
My best subject during this seven weeks of summer class has been Math. I have always been a pretty good Math student. Math has been a strong subject for me to gasp since I was in Kindergarten. Counting numbers is something like a sixth sense to me because growing up, I would not read a single book. I would rather count and learn how to count to the next highest number I could get to. My parents knew that Math was going to do me a world of good during school. Ever since I was in first grade, my Math grades on my reports would never reach below an A+. I always made my Math teachers happy because I made it look so easy and made them look good when I moved up to the next grade.
Jalen I agree with your cofusion, because I be so confused also. The particular lesson you are talking about would most likely be my second choice for the hardest lesson. And I have to agree with you when you said that you have learned more in this program then in high schoool. I honestly have.-----Robin Davis
