Why AM I Here?

Why am I here? I am here in the summer developmental program because I need to improve my skills so I will be ready for college life in the fall. I plan to complete the program and be able to come to MSU in the fall. What do I wish to accomplish while attending this program? I plan to accomplish better reading skills and understanding. MSU is one of my favorite schools and I have always wanted to attend MSU, but I didn't do very good on the ACT. I was very interested in the program. I feel that this program gives students a change to attend MSU. The summer developmental program will help me learn what it will be like to attend MSU in the fall, basically like a head start. To accomplish my summer goal I will keep myself on track, study, do all homework, and participate in class. I think I could have done better on the ACT test and the placement test, but I slacked up a little learned a lesson from that. I wish to learn the campus more, meet new people in this program, and get a great connection with the professors. At the time I think that i will accomplish something out of the program. I plan to gather more knowledge than I had to start with at the beginning of this program. I always thought this program was a joke when I first heard of it, but when I finally got into the classrooms, it was like being in high school, but a better time. I am so happy I am in this program. Summer programs at colleges are needed because people need to learn the ropes of college. MSU has taught me a very important lesson in life, be the student in the classroom and outside the classroom.
