Changes_________Trermaine Williams
This program has changed my way of writing, speaking, and thinking in many was. I always thought I was a good writer and still think so, but this program has made me make some changes in how I write. I learned that how I write is some what right and some what wrong (like this I think). I thought I like writing then, but know I love it because it comes wit challenges and changes that you learned all the way through. I had to make a change in how I talk. I know that I'm country and have a southern accent, but the people that I met in this course is some what in my book proper. I know can't go through life talking the way I do, so I'm trying to get better in pronouncing my words. I believe this is a good change, but I doubt if I'm going to loose my accent. The way the people in this course talk tends to challenge my brain. Sometimes I can't get what they are saying, so I context clues. I know it sounds crazy, but to me they talk crazy. In addition, this course has challenged my thinking skills. I like to sit down and listen and voice my opinion on things that people discuss. I like Fridays, because we have a chance to hear everybody opinion on the blog that we wrote earlier that week. I know you can't have a discussion with uneducated answers and even questions, so you have to come with your head on straight. This course has challenged me in good ways and in my book it's okay with me.

I totally agree with you on the southern accent part. I kind of have a accent but it's not as strong as yours. Understanding northerners are very difficult because we weren't raised around them. But if you make an effort to pronounciate your words correctly, your acccent won't be as strong as it is. I also agree on the situation dealing with fridays. I like to hear everyone's opinion on the blog. --Rodney Winters
ReplyDeleteI think you have good writing skills. I also understand what you are saying when you say that the people that are surrounding you makes you think when you talk. Because alot of people in this program are not from where I am from. Some have a country accent and some talk proper english. That wat makes this blog thing so fun cause we get to express ourselves by writing and give each other our different point of veiws.(Tiara Jones)
ReplyDeleteI think your writing skills are unique. I also agree on what you are saying because several of us come from different place and we all speak different. Some of us speak proper english, country, and slang. Where I'm from we mostly speak slang. That's why I like doing these blogs because it gives us a way to express ourselves and other people get to tell us their differnt opions on how we write and talk.(Tiara Jones)
ReplyDeleteThis program have changed me as well when it comes down to the writing part that is. I mean I feel like I get better everytime we have a blog to write. Now just like you, I know that the speaking part is something we both have to work on, well you have to work on your speaking more than me, but you understand what I am saying... Ni'kevia Wells
ReplyDeletei understand clearly what you are saying. and i agree with what you are saying. i also think it is great that you see your flaw in speaking and your trying to correct. its okay to speak the way you do informal, but formally every one needs to pronounce words correctly.
