Since I have been in this program, I have leaned how to write, speak, and notice errors with in a sentence. I have really learned more out of this program then I have in my high school career. Now when I look at sentences I try to figure out what is wrong with the sentence instead of just reading it. Also the way you right effects the way you talk. Now that I find errors within the sentence, I try to find errors within my words when I talk. Learning how to use correct english, writing and speaking it, is a very good thing when it comes down to it, because in the professional world you have to use correct english. Such as using proper past and present tense, corrct punctuation, and just making sense period, is what I learned most with in this english coarse. It has also had a little effect on the way I speak. Like I said earlier I try to correct the way I speak. Taking this coarse makes you think before you speak or write, which is the right thing to do in the first place, everybody should make that a habit, thinking befor they speak. Also when you are around other people that has not taken this coarse you end up disecting what they say when they speak. In your mind you are like that is not how that suppose to sound, or you might end up correcting the person. Once you learn something the correct way it kind of starts to bug you so you end up trying to tell them whats the right way to right and speak.
