Since this program has started my learning skills have increased. Before I entered the program my writing skills wasn’t up to part, but now I think they are. Before I attended this program I couldn’t write a paragraph without putting a bunch of commas where they don’t belong. Now Mrs. Dechert is teaching the developmental English class and I am learning a lot from that class. I feel that am learning more out the class than I did during school, because some of things we are doing on class now I never seen nor learned some of the skills Mrs.Dechert , Mrs. Brooks or Mr. Williams are teaching.
Where am from nobody really forces that you have to speak correctly, because it never really mattered to them. I would love to speak proper grammar and prepare for professional jobs and everything else there is to offer along with having to speak correcty.
I feel where you are coming from because I too feel as if I learned some extra learning skills. It helped me also with my comma problem as well I know what to put down in the right spot. I agree also by you saying that it helped you become a better writer as well.
ReplyDeleteThat is very wonderful that they have improved. We have improved together, because when I first came there was some stuff that I known but just have forgotten. But as of now I know.
ReplyDeleteWell I agree with you, before this program I was not talking proper english, but with this program I have gotten better.I agree with 100% nobody is going to forces you to speak proper english but its up to you to speak correctly.-(Rikevia Wells)
ReplyDeleteI agree Toni I thought that I was a good writer until I got here... I realized I made alot of mistakes with grammer and sometimes wrote to fast that I missed spelled lots of words. In the end through I know that we both are going to pass this program.... Ni'kevia Wells
ReplyDeleteProper English speaking skills can help you int he long run when it comes down to you trying to get an office job or anywhere high class. It is always good to help a good tone to your voice when you talk because a person can be more understand of your words.
