Speaking differently--Jeffery Jernagin

I think people who speak a different language come from different cultures. Everyone that is from the United States is taught english but comes from different races. Not to say skin color decides on how a person talks because a person speech can inprove if they practice talking proper. The United States is a big country so everyone that lives here will mostly likely speak english but not as well as others. Even though many people learned english as a first language we still have to remember our past culture and where our family is from. Our speech has something to do with how we are taught to speak also. It's rare to find the people of a different race with the same speech. I think how we are raised has to do something with are speech as well if you grow up around it you adapt to they way you are taught. I was raised in the deep parts of the country so my accent is deep and a little country. Many different people are taught english but the class is not based on talking only but grammar as well. I mean english is a class that has been taught to me for years but it hasnt really helped me with any speaking or how I read. I think many different races speak different because they are also from all over the world so english doesn't come first. In my personal opinion I think how people talk has something to do with how it rolls off their tongue most people have deep accents. Most other races think how they speak is the proper way but I think myself english is the most powerful language you can learn.
