The majority of the people that is staying in the united state speak the same language which is English. Even though most people speak the same language they all have different talk. For instant, I am from south of the united states and most people know a southern accent when they hear one and just because they are not from the south the way people talk in the south is different from the north. So it is not so much as the language but more of how a person uses the language. There are many people who say their words in a different way from others which make it as if they were talking in another language. The reason why this happen is because of what most people are raised around. If a person was raised up around a bunch of hillbillies then basically they would talk like them. If a person was raised around a bunch of fast talking people then more likely that person who grow into talking fast. When people hear others pronounce all of their words out they would call that talking proper. When some people cut their words short they would call that talking country. Even though there is a lot of people who speak the same language it do not mean that the talks and the conversation would be the same. Many people are raised different and they are taught in different ways. This is what makes people who speak the same language sound so different. Then there is slang, most people see slang as a way the younger generation talk to each other. It is still the same language but just a different talk. It really does not matter what language you speak it would always be different ways to speak the language.

The title of this passage expresses the factor of this blog post. It is like a foreign language to some of us when it comes to the way other people talk. Some people have a draw and some people use slang when they talk. I guess you can say it is all part of life and sometimes we have to learn how to get use to it.
ReplyDeleteI agree, if your raised around a certain language or how people pronounce things then more then likely you are bound to speak like that family, or person. I also think it is neat how we all know english but how we pronounce words is all different, and it sounds different when we communicate with one another.
ReplyDeleteI agree with u also when u say how you are raised is based on how you will talk. I think if you were raised in a different country that accent will rub off on you. I mean how we talk may sound strange in any other country around.

I agree because we all are very different individually and we all need t understand each other in any level possible. The reason why is because in the nearer future we will need to know each other and help everyone understand each other.

I totally agree with your passage. It give specific facts that makes sense. For example,we talk the way we do because of the way we were raised. Many of us from the south are country and sometimes tend to drag our words. In contrast, people who were raised around fast talking adults tend to talk fast. In conclusion you stayed on topic and your blog was very intresting to read. Good job yoooooo --Rodney Winters
